Cancer & Headlights
My aunt and uncle were leaving my house when I got home from work. They had stopped in to visit my mother. My uncle has been suffering from Leukemia for a couple of years now, but for the first time he actually looks sick. Really sick! Cancer is such a nasty condition. It is killing my uncle in slow motion.
On a much more frustrating, albeit not nearly as depressing note, the Headlights in my truck died last night. I had just come back from the movies and it was dark as night on Bel ave. which is fitting since it was in fact nighttime, and the lights flickered and then died when I started up the truck.. I had to drive home in stealth mode. So this morning I stopped at the local Crappy Tire to buy a new set of Halogens, and went to replace to bulbs. HOLY HECK BATMAN, I’m gonna have to tear apart half the freak’n engine compartment to get access to the damn headlights. It’s a whole freaking nightmarish repeat of trying to replace an oil filter on a GMC JIMMY. What is with car makers, headlights burn out, it should be an easy DIY project. But NO well make it very difficult for you to do any maintenance on your vehicle. Its not like I am rebuilding the damn engine, merely replacing a burnout bulb. YARRgggg I ‘m frustrated…. But at least my heads not in the gutter at the moment.
Oops
I spoke to soon

Oh man. I'm sorry to hear about your uncle. That's rough.
So do the dead headlights mean you're not making BIFF on Friday?
I hopefully will have it all fixed by tonight. Its not raining so its the perfect time to muckin about under the hood. I will most likely make it out to BIFF
