Letter of Reference
You may have heard of some of the crazy things that are happening to me at work the last little while. Important people inside the company are jumping ship fast and furious like. This is bad. Is the end imminent?
I went to my supervisor today to ask for a letter of reference. She made the funniest face of anguish I have ever witnessed. We have a small department and two people handed in their two weeks notices lately. She just stood there with her mouth flapping and no sound being uttered. It takes upwards of four months to be fully trained in all the areas of my work, and the new trainee just started training last week. (my section inside the department consists of two people)
I took pity on my supervisor and told her I was only looking for part time work. The look of relief that spread across her face, made me feel all good inside for lying to her. I am looking for another full time job.
Cheers
