Memories from childhood
I recently have been watching the A-team in the mornings while I eat my bowl of oatmeal. I LOVED this show as a child. I thought Hannibal was the coolest cat ever, and I had a total crush on the characters face/Murdoch. The show had it all, Car chases, explosions, bad guys, explosions, fugitives...have I mentioned the explosions. Boy, things sure appear different through the eyes of childhood. The show is so formulated, and cheesy...no make that extra cheesy. Every episode has the A-team locked up and/or hunkered down in a old abandoned warehouse / barn / rickety enclosure that has just enough misc. junk lying around to make projectile weapons. How many episodes had the same sheets of rusty tin roofing, welded onto a conveniently placed tractor/truck/forklift, to make a bullet proof screen. ???????
Its complete crap....yet...
I still love every tacky minute of the show.
Its weird, some shows are still as cool as when I loved them as a kid... others are just nasty things best forgotten.
I still love Quincy, A-team, Rockford Files, Barney Miller, Avengers.
I no longer love Chips, Cheers, Happy Days, Andy Griffin show, V

Totally agree. I still love the A-Team (notice how the bad guys had great aim to shoot at tires but never at people???) but others (Remington Steel) not so cool anymore...
