Global Warming

I have been fascinated by the current debate, or lack thereof, on global warming. Now, I don't have an issue with the fact that global temperatures are rising,. What I have a problem with is the cult like following that this movement is attracting. Either you agree with what they say about global warming unquestioningly, or you are a great big evil SOB, that is one step removed from holocaust deniers. Pardon me, If I care how the stats that are being throwing around were actually derived. I think we all are aware that 83.4% of all stats are made up on the spot. =) I watched a small amount of the Oscars, and I found the glassy eyed look that some of the movie stars had while watching Al Gore accept his statue, highly disturbing. Its like they are looking upon the face of God. Recently it was found that Al Gore's (poster child for saving the planet) personal residence used 20X the electricity as comparable homes in the area he lives. Wanna stop global warming Al, stop heating your frak'n pool. It is also surprising that Al's electricity bill has doubled since he became involved with an Inconvenient truth. Huzzah of Hypocrisy.
